Archbishop Tutu, Please Apologize to the Jews

Photo: World Economic Forum

On Sunday, the Free Gaza Movement posted this on its Twitter Feed: “Zionists operated the concentration camps and helped murder millions of innocent Jews” with a link to a disgusting video. Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a hero of the anti-Apartheid movement in South Africa, has lent his name as an endorser of this odious organization. Walter Russell Mead writes, and we agree, that everything Tutu claims to have fought for in his life – as well as basic decency – requires him to apologize and distance himself from Free Gaza.

I went to a church convention over a decade ago and he was a special speaker for a large denomination, that I will not mention. I thought he seemed out of touch back then and apparently nothing has changed. I didn’t agree with his ideas at all.

It is time for him to retire. He is obviously in the early stages of dementia, poor thing.

Tutu is an old communist archbishop or otherwise his theology isn’t far removed from Wrights. South Africa has suffered as many degradations because of the tone of communism in the country and still needs reforms. It is no surprise he is critical of Israel and embraces Jihadi elements that characterize themseleves as rebels and activists.

As a South African, I am ashamed of this senile old glory seeker who loves to be in the news. Pray for us there are many like him. He will find himself in a tight corner in front of God one day

Desmond Tutu needs to take history leasson before he open his mouse. He doesn’t know that the Gaza Movement got their land free and it belong to the Jews since 1888. He’s like Obama.

This man is indeed either evil or crazy. Has he never seen all the murders of the Jews in WWII?
I am not Jewish but stand with them all the way.

The Free Gaza Movement needs to review the history of WWII on this subject. Their “fact” are just plain wrong. Desmond Tutu also needs to do the same and both need to apologize to Israel and to Jews everywhere. His ideas in this regard are just plain erroneous- he should distance himself from the Free Gaza Group.

My thoughts are simple. Any country or human being that doesn’t stand for Israel against any evil aimed at them, shall surely be doomed. Believe it or not Israel is at the heart of the Almighty God.

This is how you use your influence? Pre-holocaust, the Nazis HATED the Jews and wanted to get rid of them, but slaughtering them had not YET become socially acceptable.

Tutu should be a shame of himself and apologize and distance himself from Free Gaza. Israel is not South Africa. Tell the world how much money you received to defend free Gaza movement? Same on you!!!

It is sad that a Christian clergy talks this way about Zionists or any other group which is doing the best they can for Israel. We should devout our talent and expression to bring peace not war.

Tutu is a hater of the Jewish people and there is nothing so disonest or rotten that his fellow anti-Semites will say that will cause him to apologize.

No group other than Jews was more supportive of his fight againt South Africa. What they got from him is to be expected.

In America Jews were always in the forefront in the fight against anti-Black racism. Now blacks are four times more likely to be anti-Semitic, than whites.

Will Jews never learn to let others get the satisfaction and credit for fighting their own battles

People often forget the aplogies but rememberthe front page. They forget the fact that it was the arabs who were told to leave Israel, not by the Jews, but by the Arabs themsevews. Check sources. Archbishop Tutu is an intellgentinformed man who knows the truth.

An Inspiring Time of Year

Hanukkah, which begins next week, is a festive time for the Jewish people. But it is also much more than a celebration for families. It is a moving, inspiring story of God’s protection and provision that is especially meaningful this year in light of recent events in Israel and around the world.
