Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu intends for the elections to be held on Jan. 15. Political commentator Ayala Hasson said on Channel 1 on Tuesday that the goal is to shape the Israeli political map before the next American president is sworn into office on Jan. 20.
Israel is a democratic state and it is a Jewish state. This duality can lead to conflict – as we have seen in recent weeks – but it is one of Israel's unique strengths and a source of pride.

Prime Minister Netanyahu is right. He will have a much more pro-Israeli friend in Romney than the pro-Arab Obama.It’s a shame that he was able to fool enough Americans to get into the White House.
