Lawmakers Call for Cuts to U.N., PA

Alana Goodman notes that the United Nations and Palestinian Authority may (and, in our view, should) suffer for yesterday’s disgraceful and dangerous anti-Israel vote (her article was written before the measure passed).

Senator Orrin Hatch has already filed an amendment to the upcoming defense bill that would abolish UN funding if the status change is approved.

I am angry with the direction things are going in for Isreal. The United Nations is biased and not fair in their conclusions toward Isreal. It seems most of the world wants to gang up on Isreal and blame them for everthing wrong with the Palestinians. Hitler had the same kind of mind set against Jews that some countries are currently repeating. Come LORD and set things straight!

Without even reading the article, I concur 100% with both Mr. Hatch’s ammendment and Alana’s article. The U.N. does nothing more than “take up valuable space” in New York. Land that could be better used for other purposes houses an organization that does nothing to further Israel or America’s beliefs. The P.A. is illegal and of no use to anyone. Let both groups find land/lodging and finances elsewhere. Our money is better spent doing humanitarian relief at home.

We should not be funding the UN. They do not support America so why give them money. For that matter, why do we give money to the Palestians, Pakistan, Libya, Egypt and every other country that is run by terrorists who then stab us in the back. Keep our money at home, except Isreal, who is our ali. This would sure help our debt and maybe we would gain back respect. Quit cowtowing America.

I know that what the UN is doing and now has done is a mistake in history. America as Israel and the Jewish people’s real only ally and friend has no choice but to do the only right thing now. We should under no cercomstances give money to any Country who voted for this and stop all funds to them and the Palestinians. No person, group of people, Country and or State should benifit from hate and terrorism.

I agree with that action. We have shouldn’t be funding the UN anyway. They have become a power grabbing, socialist organization that only uses the United States anyway! Anytime there is a need for use of military force to police or enforce their policies it is the United States that they look to and depend on to carry the load. The United States military is always the first to arrive and the last to leave. The majority of the countries who are part of the UN never send any troops to take part in or support police actions when military force becomes necessary. The UN has evolved into something that it was never intended to be.

The UN should be defunded, with all the cut backs they want to do with the military, The UN should be the first on the list to go. It is 90% corrupt. It is a 3rd world dictator run organisation. It’s so insane that the Syrians are on the human watch panel, including the Sudan. Oil and money program lost 800 million in embezzled funds. Kofi’s son did well on that deal, not to many people got food but Koffi’s family did well. Investigation found we don’t need an investigation. Just a few countries that hold back their funds and the entire rotten structure will collapse. Let the Europeans have their little UN if they want.

Hello and I wanted to inform you that I am digusted with Palestine and its Hamas Terrorist support in their country. The UN is unfair and deceptive in their decisions of authorizing particular countries that support terrorism to become official autoriative states or countries in the world that are also anti-Israel. We need to continue praying for Israel and the Jewish people that reside there, and we need to take a stand against countries such as Palestine that promote and support terrorism against Israel and the people that live there as well.

The U.N. has always been the enemy of the U.S. One of the founders of the U.N. was the famous anti-American spy Alger Hiss. It has always been a haven for spies, who have diplomatic immunity. The U.S. should evict the U.N., sell the property to a for profit company and collect real estate taxes on it. What has the U.N. ever done for the U.S.?

The UN is a demon possessed organization, just like the PA. What they did doesn’t surprise me at all! And those nations that abstained from casting a vote are a bunch of cowards, they have no backbone. The Palestinians think they have won something, they have won nothing. Israel should build 6,000 new homes instead of 3,000. I pray that Israel will stand firm and NEVER give in to the hate-filled Palestinians and their evil organizations. I love you Israel, and so do thousands and thousands of Americans. You are constantly in my prayers and I do whatever I can to support you. May God continue to give you the power to defeat your enemies, just like he did King David.

    Defund the U.N.
“Palestinians” are not a country and have no history as having one or having roots as a people. They are people from many nations that moved into this country. In addition it looks like that the U.N. is turning from a peacekeeper to being an agressor. It has lost the originators purposes for unity of nations. Why not move the palestinians to Iran and the U.N. to some other country and get out of the United States.

All that this decision does is gives Palestine the room it needs to try and take over more country and try to eliminate Israel, but these situations are eminent because all the other countries that surround Israel want Israel to disappear. This is biblical.
