Minorities Fear End of Secularism in Egypt

Emblem of the Muslim Brotherhood

Daniel Steinvorth and Volhard Windfuhr, writing in Der Spiegel, say religious minorities in Egypt, mostly Christians, have much to be concerned about with the Muslim Brotherhood in charge.

The protests are primarily directed against the Islamists’ attempts to push a religious constitution on the country. A constitutional council convened by Egypt’s parliament has suggested redefining the roles of church and state, with the “rules of Sharia” becoming the basis for the country’s laws. This would also entail re-examining and renegotiating the issue of equality between men and women.

arabs in the middle east are never prepared for a democratic system of government because most of them don’t have the mentality of tolerance. They cannot tolerate other groupings to live with them. Therefore every country in the middle east should always be governed by a strongman or a dictator who can control them.

My thoughts: Mr president and his henchmen were behind that mess and put our brothers and sisters in peril. Then think upon that when he is re-elected what he will do the US and the state of Israel.

This is just crazy.. We Christians are gonna have to stand up to these evil people. Political correctness is making us bow down, or at least our government is, to these radicals.

This is going to be hard on everyone I think world wide before it’s over with. I think those 70% should really think about what the world is coming to. Freedom is gradually going to be gone Americans really need to think before acting. Before it’s over the goverment will control everything as it has already started.

Apparently the United States isn’t the only nation with a large political party trying to take a nation back in time.

It’s frightening,Isn’t it? I pray for delivery: the 144,000 Jews sealed by God in the tribulation don’t get it yet. I recently read in J,W.R. that 70% of American Jews will vote for Obama. Stubborn.

The Jewish people of this country watching, hearing and reading the real truth about who Obama really is I just don’t think they will vote for a muslim who has turn his nose up to Israel-Obama would not meet with BiBi the leader of Israel saying he did not have time but goes on stupid smart ass Dave Latterman who I will never watch, all this says the Jewish people will not vote for him-If there are some I would like for them to post that their voting for Obama.

State of Israel"

Rabbi's Commentary
