My Country is Under Attack. Do You Care?

In a moving Huffington Post piece, International Human Rights Lawyer Aren Ostrovsky shares his anger – no, outrage – at the neglect, ignorance, lies, and hatred with which the international community continually approaches Israel.

Ostrovsky explains that it’s not just the 600+ rockets fired from Gaza to Israel in 2012 alone, nor the 80+ fired in the last 24 hours, that outrage him.

Rather, it’s the silence (and sometimes even solidarity) shown by many in the face of terrorism. It’s allowing world leaders who have pledged to destroy Israel to work toward the genocide of the Jewish people. It’s the unchallenged anti-Israel activism of the United Nations, European Union, many mainline churches, and human rights organizations around the world. It’s the failure of so much of the world to consider both sides of a very, very complex situation.

In his article Ostrovsky pointedly asks, “Can you imagine if even one rocket was fired on Washington, London, Paris or Moscow?”

His answer, and ours: “No nation on earth can, or should, tolerate such attacks on its people.”

“You see, as most Americans were waking up this morning, and those in Europe and elsewhere around the world were going about their daily routines, here in Israel — over one million people were running for cover from a hail of rockets being rained down by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.” – Aren Ostrovsky

I’m an American/Christian. Still, I have NEVER understood – much less embraced – ANY kind of hatred or discrimination towards Israel/the Jewish people. I pray 4 your protection & G-d’s blessings. Amen

    G-D + ISRAEL = VICTORY G-D – ISRAEL = VICTORY
So either way ISRAEL is bound to win as Bible prophecy predicts. Three times in JOEL´s prophecy G_D says “ISRAEL is MY land”. Nobody can destroy.

I pray for Israel. In line with the stories in the book of Judges; Israel turn back to your real ‘Husbandman’.All the others will let you down. Seek the face of the Lord your G-D. He won’t let you down

I stand with Israel in prayer always. Only Israel can destroy itself. All the Palestinians, Hamas,Iran, UN, EU or any worldly alliance cannot destroy it. Israel can only be destroyed in the things of the God of Israel. The problem with the Jews is that they always want to be like other nations of the world. In the process, they copy things (SIN) that their God forbids and make Him go on to punish them. Have you seen the gay and lesbian clubs in Tel Aviv recently? Irael, just go back to your God and He will come back to you. Only then willyou understand the time and season we are all in. Can someone tell Ben. Netanyahu this please? Go back to your HOLY BOOKS where your Secret as a People and a Nation lay.

Father, please give Israel the ability and the strength to continue to bless even in the presence of anti-semetism. The day is coming when all will bow their knees to the King of kings, a Jew in His humanity. May it come soon. Amen.

An Israeli Boy’s Dream of Peace

This weekend, I spent a wonderful day playing with some of my grandchildren – really, one of the most glorious days of my life. There is something about the innocence of children that reminds you that the most cherished and most beautiful moments of life are the simplest ones.
