Palestinians’ U.N. Vote, Israel’s Elections

Photo: Abir Sultan / European Pressphoto Agency

Herb Keinon of the Jerusalem Post writes that the Palestinians are planning to push for a vote on Palestinian statehood at the U.N. – but part of their calculus is the impact such a vote might have on the Israeli elections.

Some of those presently counseling the PA are telling its leaders that if they take this step now – on the eve of the election – they will face a much harsher Israeli response because Netanyahu and Liberman will want to appear very tough to the Israeli electorate. Bringing a vote now could also have the unintended consequence of strengthening Israel’s right-wing because a vote that isolates the country in the international community would likely lead to a rallying of the public around the flag.

The Nation Of Israel Needs Our Prayers Right Now.

The word “shalom” means, Peace, complete peace and wholeness spiritually, socially, economically, and physically, for the land and the people.

Psalm 122 tells us how to pray for the “shalom” of Israel.

1.) PSALM 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”

This means, to pray for the “Spiritual Peace” of Jerusalem.

2.) PSALM 122:7 “Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.”

This means, to pray for the “Social and Economic Peace” of Jerusalem.

3.) PSALM 122:8 “For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, peace be within thee.”

This means, to pray for the “physical peace” of Jerusalem.

Praying for The “physical peace” of Jerusalem includes, the structural wholeness of the buildings, the wholeness of the borders of land, and the wholeness and health of the people.

Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse…”
May the Lord help us here in US, and may the new president stand for Israel, then we too will be blessed.

There will never be a Palestinian State. All arguments in support of establishing one are based on lies.

Splitting Jerusalem in half, the Western half being the Capital of Israel and the Eastern half the Capitol of Palestine is unimaginable as it would be a recipe for disaster above and beyond the consequences.Imagine Jerusalem being divided like post-World War II Berlin during the cold war period. It would be very inetense indeed.Palestinian statehood? Impossible without dire consequences!Even having Two systems in one country would also be unthinkable and inconceivable.Besides in Psalm 121:4 says,”He (The Lord) who watches over ISRAEL never slumbers nor sleeps”.I read my Bible and it frequently mentions Israel but never have I read the word Palestine in the Bible. So that pretty much settles it.

ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE JEWISH PEOPLE. THIS LAND WAS GIVEN TO THEM AS DOCUMENTED IN THE HOLY-BIBLE. ANY DISCUSSION ON SHARING OR SPLITTING THE LAND SHOULD NOT EVEN BE A CONSIDERATION.

If the US has any more part in dividing of Isreals land, we will see the New Madrid fault open up and split the US in two. We need to keep our hands off Gods land, and support Isreal.

Israel is God’s chosen people and nothing can change that. God is faithful. He will protect Israel in accordance to His plan. Any plans by any nation to hurt them will not prosper.

Good. This report is positive. I also like to read about when people unintentionally acknowledge there really is no such place as a Palestine. There could have been in 1948 but there isn’t. I hope it stays that way.

When the Palestinians have stopped raining bombs and missiles on Israel and really want peace then they are entitled to their own state…which does not include any part of Jerusalem….Knowing the arab mentality that will never happen…..

The Palestinians always find new ways of shooting themselves in the foot. Their attempt to be recognized by the UN, if successful, will spell the end of any future negotiations.

First, I need to say that human rights is important to me for all people to obtain. It looks like crooked politics can happen anywhere and at anyplace in time. Where are the honest people in our world. I want things to be fair for all people and it looks to me that Isreal is really taking a hit from their surrounding neighbors. Is anyone supporting Isreal right know? We haven’t been able to buy peace from the Muslim nations and why are we trying to support them in every whim that they send our way? Can we trust the Muslim Brotherhood nations to be objective in their views regarding the United States, Isreal or any democatic society in our world? I wonder what plans the terrorists have prepared next? They don’t appear to be concerned for human rights in their countries and yet they riot and use force and intimidation in order to get what they want their way and with no regard for anyone else.

Remembering the Terror of 9/11, Confronting the Terror of Today

The attacks on 9/11 were a wake-up call to the dangers of Islamist terrorism, and the swift growth of terrorist groups such as the Islamic State should wake us up to a current threat that demands not just our vigilance, but also our unity.
