Ron Paul: Gaza is like a concentration camp

There’s been a lot of discussion about Rep. Ron Paul’s views on foreign policy and, specifically, Israel.  With his performance yesterday in the Iowa caucuses, we thought you should see this interview he gave to Iranian state-owned Press TV in 2009 – during the height of Israel’s defensive incursion into Gaza, following years of rocket attacks against communities in the south of the Jewish state.

Do you understand that the U.S. gives an exponentially greater amount of aid to Israel’s enemies. We “support” Israel, all the while causing more trouble for them by meddling in their affairs.

Our government throws this so called “support” behind Israel solely so they can pressure her into making choices that benefit the U.S. and its military efforts. We have been “big brother” for too long

It’s time the US gov. respect Israel’s sovereignty and let her make her own decisions. They don’t need our military/political support; they need our prayers and the support of individuals-not governme

Zechariah 2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye.
Zechariah 2:10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.

Although we are Americans, the purpose of Stand for Israel is to publicly say,”NO!!!” when any part of the government does not stand with & for Israel. You are right that nobody knows which way G-d will bring about His plans to bring forth protection for Israel, but that does NOT mean we should stand silent when wrong is done by ans part of the government. How do you know that our voices are not what G-d will use to bring about deliverance?

I am a conservative, evangelical christian and I am a firm supporter of Israel. Hamas and other terrorist have fired rockets into Israel for years with very little retalliation from the Jews. If this was the U. S. being rocketed, the cruise missles would be in the air within hours to put an end to this madness.

Does not the Bible say… “”I will bless those who bless you… and curse those who curse you??”” It”s alright though… because God is for Israel… and that”s all that really matters. And please tell me, Dr. Paul, how is the little strip of Arabia that has an esconomy, through the largess of Israel, better that all of the surrounding economies of all Arab neighbors a concentrataion camp ?

The Arabs want to destroy Israel so they can have all its benefits without working for them. The same way all the muslims and illegals want to come to America and enjoy the freedoms and economy without lifting a hand to create it.

Enough already!! Jews are regular folks and run the gamut of multiple opinions to nut cases like Paul. It’s getting maudlin and close to putting Jews on a pedastal complete with halo which is no help at all. We are all children of God. God is an equal opurtunity God. He doesn’t favor any of his children over another. There is plenty we can do to give support to Israel. I belive we love Israel because we have the kinship and a connection no two other countries share. Besides, together we have the power to make everyone else on the planet miserable. Who’d give up that? GOD BLESS

Correction. The church is God’s chosen poeple. They are His holy nation (cp. Mat. 21:43 with 1Pet. 2:9). God has one covenant people, those of the New Covenant (see Heb. 8:13). It is not Abraham’s physical seed but his spiritual seed that are God’s people (see Gal. 3:6-9, 26-29).

He is not a politition, as you could see how easily he is cornered by the interviewer. He can’t stay on point and “RAMBLES ON” His campaign song sould
be LEAD ZEPPLIN”S RAMBLE ON. We all know a lead zepplin could not fly, neither can Ron Paul.

I am very disppointed in Ron Pauls speech. He appears on many levels to be an independent watchdog in American politics and a man who seems to have his pulse on the truth of many matters. However here is has missed the mark by a country mile. His comments show 2 things:

    1. A profound lack of understanding of the historical context surrounding pallestinian Israeli situation

    2. A lack of will power to resist the temptation of yeilding to popular media, and their rancid hatred against Israel.

However when we understand that this conflict is not merly physical, theoretical or philisophical, but a conflict that is born and perpetually fought within the spiritual realm, we can see that Ron is simply blinded through the forces of darkness that seek the destruction of Israel, and as such he is a puppet and worthy of our pity and prayers rather than our scorn.

Mr. Paul needs to read Genesis 12″2-3 before he makes decisions like that. If he is elected the wrath of Hashem will come down not only on Mr. Paul but this nation. Our nation has already lost some of G-D’s protection by trying to force Israel to give away the land of His chosen people. Why does Mr. Paul think these earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, terrorism & the floods are happening? I don’t know if he says he is a Christian but I don’t believe any true Christian would support him. I am Messianic & I have an Israeli flag outside & I am proud of it. Mr. Paul needs a not of prayer & anyone else who agrees with him. G-D BLESS ISRAEL!!!!

He is just racist, but no-one wants to come right out and say it. He is from that old thinking that really do not care for any race except white. I am in his age category and American Negro,he wouldn’t care if they bombed all of us non-anglos off the face of the earth. He will never be President of the United States; what foreigners or foreign policy could he deal with, without insulting them first. The World has passed him by, he is stuck in the racist past.

I think Ron Paul is a head case. The one thing the USA should never do is not support Israel! God has made it very clear in the scriptures that those who stand with Israel with be upheld by God. The USA was formed with Judeo-Christian principals and has been successful because for a long time this nation honored the Lord God. More recently we have allowed the world to overthrow so much of what made us a successful Christian nation and look what a mess we are in. When the end times come we will be judged by God and where we stand for Him and Israel.

I’m very tired of reading people’s theories of what God will do. No one knows. The Bible is subject to individual ideology. God will take care of it and is not punishing America or Israel.

I was considering Ron Paul for president,But he obviously isn’t up on the truth.America has the right to defend herself against agressors who attack her and so does Israel! He also isn’t listening to what the enemy has said over and over. They want to destroy all Jews. They don’t want Israel to have their little bit of land. They have so much, but they want Israel too.

First of all there is no distinct people group called the Palestinians.I have been to ISRAEL 5 times, three times as a volunteer, with the Israeli military as a non-Jew.Paul is a racist and anti-semite.I have a good Jewish friend here who says Jewish people here are appalled at his rhetoric.the Bible says I will bless those who bless my people. The Jewish people have made some mistakes ,but they live in a BAD neighborhood and right now they are at great risk due to the incitement of Ahkmoud I-Need=A-Job from IRAN,and with Hezbollah to the North with 15,000 rockets stored up.I pray that we do not turn our backs to ISRAEL or we surely will be under the judgement of ALMIGHTY GOD.

I believe that the major reason for America’s world changing prosperity has been it’s willingness to stand with Israel. Unfortunately, America has been extremely careless and is on the brink of financial ruin as a result. All of the presidential candidates (with one exception), including the president himself, are incapable of solving our current crisis, and will only contribute to America’s financial collapse. The one candidate who has good financial sense and truely understands how to get America back on track is Ron Paul. I would love to vote for him. However, I will never vote for someone who will not stand with Israel. Long live Israel! God, please help America.

Isn’t that what Ron Paul said and Netanyahu as well. But now you are stuck with us. Don’t fall for that seven year peace treaty because in the middle of it, they will betray you!

Ron Pauls needss to remember Camp David where Isreal offer the Palestinans every thing they wanted for a peace agreewment and the Palestinan leader still said “NO”. Also, when the Palestinans leader died, his people had to beg and make a deal with his wife that left her a very wealth woman to get some of the millions and millions he took from the United States and stole from his people. Ron Paul who’s money was that, the United States which we give to the Palestinan people but their leader and his close associates stole it from the Palestinan people, so don’t act like Isreal’s the only ones we are helping. If Iseral didn’t work the Palestinan people, they would starve because the leaders they voted to run things still the money we and other counties give them. The Palestinan people or the muslin brother hood are tried everyday to kill out the Ireralites and we sat back and tell them to not shoot back, to do nothing. We should learn from some of the things we make Iseral do, the day we made them give up the Gaza Strip, God let the United States take a hit from a storm that wipe out evereything a hundred miles deep and six hundred miles of the coast line and he (God) put a sickness on the Iseral leader that made that dealwhicxh give away Gaza that ending up killing him. Ron Paul, I feel sorry for people like you, God says read the Bible so you will know how to live life and it will guide ytou through life, if you had read the Bible you would know that God gave Iserals first leader, Abraham all of that land and its God land , not anyone else to give away. Ron, you’re right about one thing, if we , the United States would keep our nose out of Iserals business, they (Iseral) and the middle east wouldn’t be in the mess they’re in today. They would have kick butt way back when and every one would have left them along, but NO they’re like most men and women, they don’t won’t to listen to God they thing man has the answer. May God have mercy on you Ron Paul and may God please have mercy on the people of the United States and keep people like you at home and not in the Big House in Washington, we already have one person who has try his best to destory the United States in three years. The young people wanted to be a part of history and vote for the young black man, I have nothing agaist him being black but I believe he’s a muslin and out to do away wirth America, well you where a part of history and now for the next, (who knows how many years it will take) forty years or better if we’re lucky to pay the debt he has left the young people. May God have mercy on us all if we ever turn our backs on Iseral. God says he will heal our land and our people if we will just turn back to him.We have stop teaching our kids about God, so we really need his MERCY! I love this country (United States) and I love Iseral and I’m not sorry for standing up for them!

Damn right we had better give money and weapons to Israel. Why doesn’t RP make the arabs in the region absorb the people in Gaza? They are essentially arabs. Israel gave them land and they are squandering it. The other arab nations are using people in Gaza as pawns for giving grief to Israel.

I believe God at His word…He will bless those that bless Israel and curse, etc. However, Dr Paul is not anti Israel, regardless of the emotion generated in these comments. Israeli sovereignty should be respected but American political intervention should be avoided. Conversely, as Dr Paul states in this video, political support for Palestinians is not our business either. PERSONAL support for Israeli rights is not in opposition to this policy. And let’s remember folks, God is well able to protect Israel…which is what He promises to do.

Ron Paul is not commenting upon (true) Covenant-people we call Jewish, he has correctly identifing the false Zionist-Gov that controls all Israeli citizen’s, displacing Palestinians.
A study of these Proto-Zionist and year-1897 Zionist Congress, these schemed to set up a Jewish “Homeland” in Palestine, but was accomplished many decades previous by Jewish devout faithful to God and Torah (70AD-1900’s Homeland settlements @ 300,000 people).
As in all nations previous with Zionist intervention and interference, these always brought suffering later upon all Jewish that had lived in peace. There are already signs of this realization beginning in America, my fear is that devout and true Jewish will suffer along with these Zionist Apartheid mindset.

I heard Ron Paul tell more than what;s being said & I hope this is a proper response (“IN
favor OF ISRAEL).He said when Israel gets money-the Palestiaians always got more-then he said it would do Israel better because they would still have an advantage because the PA would get so much less and there are many anti-semites that are against Israel and we woud be doing them a favor.: I would accept this if he will promise to “stand ” with Israel when they need us..I wrote him and told him Israel is “THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYE” AND AT THE END ALL NATIONS WILL GO AGAINST ISRAEL AND HE’D BEST BE VERY CAREFUL AND NOT GET INVOLVED BECAUSE GOD HIMSELF IN ZECH 12=14 SAID IF WE HURT THEM, WE WILL BE IN A CURSE AND ALL WHO FIGHT AGAINST ISRAEL WILL DIE STANDING ON THEIR FEET RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE AND THEIR EYES WILL ROT OUT OF THERI SOCKETS AND TONGUES WILL CLEAVE TO THEIR MOUTHS. I warned him but have not heard back…he is very smart in all the other areas and if you notice the news media is Very slanted toward Romney and if he gets it—we are going to have another Obama. GOD forbid…I believe if Ron Paul will stand for Israel he will be the very best choice for he is going to cut trilllions of dollars in gov’t and we now give about 140 countries money (isn’t that crazy? even ones that hate us!). And he will CUT government!!! no one else will go that drastic and we need drastic! GOD Bless America and please look into Romney—He is just as dangerous and I knew the minute the media kept him in front of our eyes all the time–it was a “planned deal” already–can’t you see it?

Immature Christians, taught error apparently their entire lives, why do you suppose true Covenant-Jewish faithful and obedient made no attempt for almost 2000-years to re-establish Israel in Palestine.
As a mature Christian, I challenged you to find out about the 3-vows the Covenant-people honored for 2000-years while scattered within all the nations, find out when the Messiah will re-gather (all) the scattered into the wilderness of these nations, bringing them into new covenant, and purging those that rebel and revolt against God (never to enter eternal Israel)… in the Last Days.

Part of the reason our country is facing a lot of the problems is because our president now as well as may in congress have chosen to ignore what is happening to Israel. Our people need to wake up and elect a man thatunserstants that we are a Christian nation and they we need to follow God’s word.

God help the US if Ron Paul gets in to be president. He sure doesn’t know his Bible and by the sound of him he is not only anti Israel but anti Christ as well.

And GOD said that he who blesses Israel will be blessed and he who curses Israel will be cursed. WE don’t NEED ANY MORE CURSES. We must ALWAYS stand with ISRAEL.

      Beth
Go back to your Bible, God said nothing about Israel, that name came later as result of a Hebrew from lineage and descendant of Abraham.
The ‘blessings and cursing’ promises were made to a Hebrew man named Abram, the promise continues to a Covenant people and Family of God. Where did you get the idea God was talking about Apartheid-Zionism… that today controls and owns about 80-90% of the land you call (the State of) Israel?

The quotation in the upper left hand corner of this website is totally oxymoron. Church should support the STATE of Israel? Are you kidding me?

Ron Paul is an idiot. We need Israel as much as they need us. We need to have someone on our side in the Middle East. Ron Paul is anti-American and anti-Israel.

I like all of Ron Paul’s ideas except his stand on Israel! If we stop backing up Israel, God will turn His back on the USA.

We must back Israel. A Jewish banker gave George Washington a million Dollars at Valley Forge. Washington told him Jews would always be welcome in America. We need to honor them and support them.

Israel will be blessed whether the USA helps Israel or not. I am more concerned what God will do to the USA if we do not help Israel. I think our current situation in the country is quite minor compared to the wrath God will unleash if this country turns its back on Israel.

There is a hitory of Arab told in the Bible that after Israelites straying and conquered, were helped by other Arab-leaders to return and rebuild. During the 70AD-1900’s before Zionism, about 300,000 Jewish settled within Palestine, living in peace with Arab/Muslim Palestinians. Jewish settlements still reside in surrounding Arab nations. Iran has an almost 3000-year old Jewish population.
Think again, who has killed or murdered most Jewish, not Muslim, brought about instead most historically documented by white and often Christian nations. Do not let yourself be led astray as those in the past.

it all comes down to what G-d said about it….
“I will bless them that bless you, and curse them that curse you” Ron Paul clearly doesnt understand that support for Israel blesses Israel.

What Ron Paul fails to remember, we are america. WE ARE supposed to be hated for doing what is right. We as america (not just christians) Are here to protect the innocent from the pure evil that is known as the extreme terrorist’s (al qaeda, muslim brotherhood, and including terrorists from the past such as the Nazis.)

So Paul thinks Gaza is like a concentration cammp does he, well; first of all he sure has not spent one minute in one, or any Palestinan (Arab). As far as minding our own business, did we the (USA) as well as other countries mind their own business during the 1930’s and 40’s when Hitler tried to annilate the entire Jewish people. May God forgive him and everyone else that thinks the way he does. Once again Israel is to blame, but the truth is I believe God holds Israel innocent.

Ron Paul should be ousted from the conservative party just for his stance on Israel. He is a very dangerous man with dangerous ideas that America should never ever consider voting for! Go home Ron Paul, America and Israel do not need you in the White House ever!!

What may suprise you, is the interference of Zionist-leaders during the Holocaust.
I know you won’t believe me an older (76) and hopefully more mature Christian, but will you believe the Jewish of faith obedient to God and Torah, read what they have to say (link):
