The Fellowship recently released a response to the upcoming vote at the Presbyterian Church USA’s June 30 – July 7 General Assembly on its divestment from the Motorola Solutions, Hewlett-Packard, and Caterpillar corporations because of services they provide in Israel and to the Israeli government:
“As the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) General Assembly revisits a tired resolution to divest from companies doing business with Israel, we call on its delegates to reject again this measure, which is based on a false narrative of the Israel-Palestinian conflict, and to instead condemn oppression of fellow Christians in the Middle East.
“Time and again, under the guise of ‘peacemaking,’ mainline churches in the U.S. have focused their energies on criticizing Israel, while ignoring the gross human rights abuses that occur daily in the countries neighboring the Jewish state.

What do you think?

Maybe not all of the Presbytarian and other Churches in America are dead to the truth and are becoming politically correct, but it doesn’t surprise me. Israel is the apple of God’s eye and as a Christian I will always stand for Israel. don’t give up your land! It was given to you by Almighty God!

You shall know them by their works. One day they will stand and be judged.

Unfortunately, the Presbyterian Church USA (I was a member many years ago) has lost the connection with its founders … it is doubtful the founders would recognize their church today! Turning their backs on Israel will only cause their numbers to diminish more. How sad this has come about!
