Hezbollah’s secretary general Hassan Nasrallah said something new. “The U.S. should understand that if it broadcasts the film in full it will face very dangerous repercussions around the world.”
Hezbollah is technologically advanced and media-savvy. Nasrallah knows perfectly well that when an individual uploads a video to YouTube, it doesn’t count as “the United States broadcasting a film.” That’s actually his point. He’s not threatening the United States in the abstract. He’s threatening you. If you insult Hassan Nasrallah’s religion on the Internet, terrorists may come after you.

As a Christian I’m taught to be peaceful and love my enimies. The actions of the murderous, sickening, insane muslims bring out the VERY worst in me. Jerry, one of Brigitte Gabriel’s books abt radical Islam is titled ‘Because They Hate’ They, not us. ‘They’ only win even more when we become consumed by such emotion, if only temporarily. We are not them.
I sometimes have to cross the parking lot of a gas station/convenience store run by Muslims, and I would bet money these particular ones support radical Islamists & share in those beliefs…the emotions I feel inside at these times concern me. I get your point. But we need the Lord to drive those thoughts & feelings out. Only He can. Amen to your prayers to forgive them, for both of us.

Jerry, you are right, we were taught to be peaceful and love our enemies and how difficult that is especially when our “flesh” rises up facing their hatred, but we must keep our “focus “on our Lord. These muslims do not know what “peace” is or “love”, they were raised with “Hate” and “Killing” that is all they know. Remember where they came from – Hagar’s son Ishmael who’s name means “your hand is against all your brothers”. They may never know the “Light of the world” our Jesus, but live in “darkness even now and throughout eternity, now that is sad. Jerry, you say you are a Christian. Jesus says we are forgiven as we forgive others. If the love of God dwells in your heart through His Holy Spirit then His perfect love casts out all fear. The Bible teaches that there is no gradation of sin in God’s sight. The sins we commit are because by nature we are sinners. The only solution is to realise that we cannot find acceptance in His sight except by receiving Christ in our hearts. None of us are good enough to be saved, but God has given Jesus to pay the price for our sins. If we accept His solution then we can be forgiven. If you truly understand the weight of your own sin in God’s sight and truly repent, ask God to forgive you and receive Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour then you will find the personal resources to forgive. Don’t let yourself become bitter because of another’s actions, find strength from His forgiveness then you will find peace whatever others do in the world.
