Turkey’s President Wants War in Syria. Turks Don’t.

Suzy Hansen writes that Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan certainly appears to be preparing for a war with Syria that his own people don’t want:

All signs point to a wider regional conflict, and if you’ve been following these events from the United States, it indeed appears as though Turkey is just one incident away from sending in troops. All his fiery rhetoric and heroic vows to stand up to Assad would also imply that the Turkish people are behind him. They are not.

    I’m reminded of Matthew 24:6-8 “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars…Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom…these are the beginnings of birth pains.”

    The entire region surrounding tiny Israel seems to b under seige with ruthless dictators and liars at the helm. Israel and it’s true allies need to stop the evil and of course with God’s powerful help

    It will be a struggle to stay out of a war since Turkey is being continually attacked by Syria. I suspect the Muslim Brotherhood would be happy to see this war escalate.

    Looks like Obummer & the CIA are looking to Turkey to start the war so the US can then move to help its Turkish ally to get new muslim control in Syria. Those Arabs are always wanting to fight,even if

    I think the muslim brother hood is trying to take over Syria. I think Obama set it all up.Will Syria be any better with the muslim brother hood running it. Is Egypt any better. Is Libya any better,Is Iran any better? Is America any better with a muslim president?

      i don’t think that obama is a muslim. i think he doesn’t care anything about religion unless he can use one for his political advantage but what i understand so far is he is not commited to any relegious sect.

    Hopefully, not but preparations should be under way, history has a way of showing us too. Hopefully, through all resources to avert one is under way….
