Symbol of Islam
Barry Rubin writes about the global threat of Revolutionary Sunni Islamism and says that, while Western victory is assured, the question is how many will have to die before that victory takes place. And he wonders if our policies are helping us or hurting us.
They will lose. Just as the Communists did; just as the Nazis did; just as the Fascists and Japanese militarists did. But how many decades will it take? How many millions of people dead and injured? How much human potential and natural resources wasted?
And will Western policy make easier the ultimate triumph of moderation, moderation that includes millions of anti-Islamist Muslims and also includes lots of Middle Eastern Berbers, Kurds, Turks, Iranians, Druze, Christians and—yes—Israel. Or will the West make things harder, longer, and worse.
Of victory, I have no doubt. Of Western good sense, all too much uncertainty.

We need a strong president who would help the jews. But first we need to get rid of Obama fast because he is a muslim and will help only his people. He wants us to think that he’s helping Israel, but we weren’t born yesterday.

Islam is a threat to peace in the world regardless of its Sunni or Shia color. Soon many from Islam will come to appreciate that theirs is not a true religion of peace. That day is not too far away.

We are living in dangerous times and the constant threats from these various muslim extremists and radicals continue to loom over us. I think that one muslim, radical group is just as bad as another. There seem to be so many of them and they seem to be spreading like the plague. As for the west I believe they should help Israel in her quest for safety and peace. The west needs to make this a priority !

Re this eternal situation: Though they are a bit overly aimed at a simplistic proselytism, reading the “Left Behind” books by Jerry Jenkins and Tim LaHaye might explain some of these questions from a Christian standpoint. Well, from us more fundamentalist Christians, anyhow.

As a citizen of the west I have to agree with there not being much good sense here. In fact Western good sense could be an oxymoron like Military Intelligence!^)

West is 100% behind radical Islam resurrection, from letting Nazi allies – Muslim leaders off the hook for Iraqi oil down to radicalized Afghanistan and Pakistan and so called “Arab Spring”.
